At [ so.design ], we believe your data is yours. RobiClaw is designed with privacy as the foundation. Unlike cloud-based AI tools, RobiClaw processes everything locally on your Windows 11 machine.

2. What Data We Collect

From the Website (robiclaw.com):

• Purchase Information: When you buy RobiClaw, Stripe processes your payment. We receive only your email address to send the download link. We do not store credit card information.
• Email Communication: If you contact support@robiclaw.com, we store your email and correspondence to provide support.
• Basic Analytics: We may use privacy-friendly analytics (no tracking cookies) to understand website traffic. This includes page views, referrers, and device types - never personal identifiers.

From the Software:

• Nothing. RobiClaw does not collect, transmit, or store any data from your local installation. No telemetry, no analytics, no phone-home features.

3. How Your Data is Used

Email Address: Used solely to:

• Send download links after purchase
• Notify you of major updates (optional, you can opt-out)
• Respond to support requests

We will never sell, rent, or share your email with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Local Data Storage

All RobiClaw data is stored locally on your machine at %USERPROFILE%\Documents\RobiClaw. This includes:

• Chat conversations and history
• Generated code and files
• Workspace documents
• Configuration settings
• API keys and secrets (stored in environment variables)

You have complete control. You can view, export, or delete this data at any time. It never leaves your computer.

5. Third-Party Services

Stripe (Payment Processing): Handles payment transactions. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Cloudflare (Website Hosting): Hosts robiclaw.com. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

No AI Service Providers: Unlike cloud AI tools, RobiClaw does not use OpenAI, Anthropic, or other third-party AI APIs. All AI processing happens locally via Ollama and Gemma models.

6. Data Security

Because RobiClaw runs locally:

• Your data is as secure as your Windows 11 machine
• No data transit means no interception risk
• You control backups, encryption, and access

We recommend enabling Windows BitLocker for full-disk encryption and keeping your system updated.

7. Cookies & Tracking

The robiclaw.com website uses:

• Essential Cookies: Session cookies for Stripe checkout (required for purchase)
• No Tracking Cookies: We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking technologies

8. Children's Privacy

RobiClaw is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of data we hold (your email address)
• Request deletion of your email from our records
• Opt-out of update notifications
• Export or delete local RobiClaw data at any time

10. Open Source Component Privacy

RobiClaw integrates Ollama (local LLM server), Gemma models, and SearXNG (private search). These tools:

• Run entirely on your machine
• Do not send data to external servers
• Process all AI requests locally

SearXNG can optionally query public search engines (Google, Bing, etc.) but does not log or track searches.

11. Data Retention

• Email Address: Retained indefinitely for product updates and support. You can request deletion anytime.
• Support Emails: Retained for up to 2 years for reference and quality improvement.
• Local Software Data: Stored on your machine until you delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last Updated" date will be revised accordingly. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
