These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your download and use of RobiClaw software ("Software"). By downloading or using the Software, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. License Grant

[ so.design ] ("Licensor") grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Software. RobiClaw is free and open source (see the GitHub repository for the full licence). This grants you:

Install and use the Software on your Windows 11 machine(s)
Use the Software for personal or commercial purposes
Receive updates via GitHub Releases

2. Restrictions

You may not:

Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Software installer
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble proprietary components
Remove or modify copyright notices or branding
Use the Software to violate any applicable laws or regulations
Share your license or installer with others

3. Distribution

RobiClaw is free and open source. The installer is distributed via GitHub Releases at no charge. You may redistribute the installer unmodified, provided this notice is preserved. You may not redistribute modified installers under the RobiClaw name without permission from [ so.design ].

4. Open Source Components

The Software integrates various open source components (llamafile, llama.cpp, Cosmopolitan Libc, Gemma models, Tauri, React, TypeScript, Node.js, better-sqlite3, sqlite-vec, and others). These components are provided under their respective licences and remain the property of their copyright holders. See the GitHub repository for full details.

Tauri™ is a trademark of the Tauri Programme / CrabNebula
React™ is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
TypeScript™ is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Licensor makes no warranties regarding performance, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You use the Software at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall [ so.design ] be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use or inability to use the Software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Because the Software is provided free of charge, total liability is limited to AU$100.

8. System Requirements

You acknowledge that the Software requires:

Windows 11 (64-bit)
8 GB RAM minimum (16–32 GB recommended)
5 GB free disk for the app; an additional 2–4 GB for AI models
Internet connection for the one-time model download during onboarding
GPU optional — llamafile also runs on CPU-only hardware

Failure to meet minimum requirements may result in degraded performance. No GPU, Docker, WSL, Python, or Node.js installation is required on the host machine.

9. Updates & Support

Updates are distributed via GitHub Releases and are free. Support is provided via email at support@robiclaw.com and through GitHub Issues on a best-effort basis.

10. Data Privacy

The Software runs entirely locally on your machine. No data is sent to external servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.

11. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use and destroy all copies of the Software.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to robiclaw.com. Continued use of the Software constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
